The brother of Jeffrey Epstein told Fox News that he believes the pedophile may have been murdered, but said he has no way of finding out.
Mark Epstein said his brother had unexplained cuts on his body that could not be explained by a jail cell hanging, and that his attempts to obtain a medical file have been thwarted at every turn.
‘They’re playing games,’ Mark told Fox News.
‘I’ve done the appropriate requests with Justice twice, and have heard nothing. I was told someone is looking into it.’
He said that he first reached out to the New York City Medical Examiner’s office on August 16, and was told he needed to contact the Department of Justice.
It has been three months, and Mark has yet to receive the file on his brother.
‘I have no standing to sue. People should know the truth about what can happen in a federal facility,’ said Mark.
‘My brother might have been murdered. This is not about me.’
Mark Epstein said that his brother may have been murdered but he still cannot determine if this is the case because he has not received his medical file
Epstein had contusions on his left and right wrists, an abrasion on his arm and another marking on one of his shoulders, according to Mark.
‘Those are unexplained,’ said Mark.
‘Was he handcuffed and struggled? Was someone holding his wrists? The marks on his wrist are unexplained.’
Dr. Michael Biden, who was hired by Mark to witness the autopsy, said that there could be an explanation for these injuries, but there is no way to know without the file.
‘Did the injuries happen a week before or at the time of the incident? We have to look at the microscopic slides to see when the injuries occurred,’ said Dr Baden.
‘The brother requested this information three months ago and he still has not gotten it.’
Epstein had been hospitalized in late July after making a previous attempt on his life according to the Bureau of Prisons, though some have claimed it was a fight with his cellmate that landed he pedophile in the hospital.

Dr Baden previously appeared on Fox News to discuss some of Epstein’s other injuries last week, specifically his two neck fractures – one on the right and another on the left side of his larynx.
There was also a third fracture on his hyoid bone.
‘Those three fractures are extremely unusual in suicidal hangings and could occur much more commonly in homicidal strangulation,’ said Dr Baden.
In response to these claims, some experts were quick to point out that the hyoid bone does in fact breaking in suicidal hangings.
Dr Baden himself has also said that his determination is not yet final and that he still needs more information before he will be able top make any determinations about the case.
New York City Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Barbara Sampson also fired back in the wake of Dr Baden’s interview.
‘We stand by that determination,’ said Dr. Sampson.
‘We continue to share information around the medical investigation with Mr. Epstein’s family, their representatives and their pathology consultant. The original medical investigation was thorough and complete. There is no reason for a second medical investigation by our office.’
She also stressed that ‘no one finding can be taken in isolation.’
There have been numerous conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein’s death, with many suspecting that it was foul play and not suicide that brought about his demise.
It is difficult to back up that claim, or confirm his suicide, given the fact that no official documents have been released at this time.
