Seven Kotoko players have tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of today’s CAF Champions League game against Al Hilal.
The Porcupine Warriors could miss several key players after the local health official cited seven players to have contracted the virus after the mandatory testing.
Kotoko travelled to Sudan with 22 players which means the Reds will only have 15 players available for the game.
Meanwhile four officials of the Club have also tested positive for the virus.
The Porcupine Warriors are however appealing against the test results as the suspect a foul play from the home team.
Kotoko are in Sudan to overturn a 1-0 defeat suffered at the hands of their counterparts in Accra.
