Charity Stars Abdul Mumin joins FC Porto as Club continues to produce talented players

Charity Stars FC youngster, Abdul Moomin Mohammed has signed a loan agreement with FC Porto in Portugal till June, 2022, the deal was sealed this February,2020.

Moomin Mohammed joined Charity Stars from Tamale real republicans. The 18 year old defensive midfielder is about the second player from the team to travel out on a professional contract.
Moomin has been with Charity Stars FC for the past two years till his recent favourable outcome. His skill of play is unprecedented and one to look out for.
Abdul Moomin Mohammed is anticipating for what’s ahead, having expressed his enthusiasm with his new family in Portugal.

Charity Stars Football Club is a continuous initiative by Apostle. Abram Owusu Amoah, a leader and founder of the Gentiles revival ministry. It was formed as a colt’s team in 1992.

Charity Stars was the first to sign the first African thus Jeffery Obletey Otoo to Atlanta United FC. Four years earlier, James Arthur joined FC Porto from Charity Stars camp, Eric Ayiah to Monaco, not forgetting the Barcelona – slayer, and Black Stars Striker Emmanuel Okyere Boateng currently of Chinese Super League club, Dalian Professional; the genius forward has shown expertise over the years.

In the local scene, Charity Stars keep extending their space with the likes of Frederick Ansah Botchway and William Ntori Dankyi of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kwaku Karikari and Kofi Baah- Liberty professional, Evans Owusu who had a stint with Kumasi Asante Kotoko Last season and Richard Acquaah- Inter Allies
Charity Stars continue to take accolades on past glories of Obed Ansah and Mumuni Bawa formerly of Accra Hearts of Oak, Jonathan Kortey of Black Stars fame.
Charity has partnered some clubs till now, where talents are scouted apart from those trained at their camp. These players are then developed from Charity Stars base thus in Kumasi and Accra.

The club has also been able to push a player on loan to FC Porto amid COVID-19 outbreak. The 18 years defensive midfielder’s loan contract will be due in June, 2020.

Charity Stars FC has resurfaced after sometime off the limelight. The Club is set for more works in the coming years both locally and internationally.

Club Managing Director, Pastor Samuel Owusu Amoah is keen on bringing and looking for the best players and produce the Quality players for Locally and international.
