Spanish giants Barcelona have reached agreement to sign Ghanaian forward for USD$36 million from French side Olympique Lyon, according to Daily Mail UK.
Memphis Depay, 26, has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Blaugrana while Barcelone have reached a deal with Olympique Lyon.
The Dutch international has a Ghanaian father and a Dutch mother and annually pay a visit to Ghana mostly in December to undertake charity works.
According to Daily Mail Depay is expected to fly to Spain during the course of the week to complete his medicals and sign a deal that will keep him at the Camp Nou for the next five years.
New Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has worked with the former Manchester United striker at the Dutch national team and is comfortable working with the striker who has notched 57 goals in 140 games for Lyon.
Depay has controversially said in the past that he is big fan of Real Madrid and dreams of joining the European giants but fate is set to land him in Barcelona.
