Ghanaian striker Okyere Kwasi Wriedt climbed off the bench to score the opening goal for Willem II Tilburg in their 2-1 pre-season win over VVV Venlo on Friday.
The 26-year-old former Bayern Munich player was introduced after the break with his side down by 1-0 and he turned the game on its heads by scoring on the 55th minute.
Okyere initially missed a chance immediately after coming on as he shot wide but he atoned for the earlier miss as he shook Arjan Swinkels off with his broad body before powering the ball home.
Meanwhile two other Ghanaian also featured in the game as German-born defender Derrick Kohn, who also joined Willem II from Bayern, came off the bench to play along with former Ajax Amsterdam youth team player Leeroy Owusu.
