Today at the Orlando stadium in South Africa, the Black Stars of Ghana held to 1-1 draw with the Ethiopian national team in the 2022 FIFA World cup qualifier. Though many had taught coach Milo could have continued his winning prowess as he did in his two previous games against Zimbabwe few months ago when he was newly appointed as the head coach of the Black Stars. Black Stars have not had the very best of performances in their two games against Ethiopia with the first game winning by a slim margin kind courtesy Mubarak Wakaso and with today’s draw with the only goal by the captain of the side and the AL Sadd man Dede Ayew.

Milo and his boys were leading on the score radar through captain Dede Ayew’s only goal of the day and the player’s 99 appearance for Ghana. But a poor play set in on the part of the Black Stars in second half when the team was punished with an equalizer goal through Getaneh Kebede following an erroneous play by defender Joseph Aidoo.

The draw has taken Ghana on a level point with group leaders South Africa with 10 points following 5 games played with a 3 wins and a draw with a goal difference of 4. Now the Black Stars will need to beat South Africa with a convincing and an handsome scoreline to secure qualification to Qatar 2022.
