German-born Ghanaian forward Richmond Tachie got his Dortmund career to a flying start by scoring the opening goal in their 2-0 win over SV Horn in a pre-season friendly on Friday.
The 21-year-old, who was signed to Enrico Maaßen’s Dortmund II side, registered the opening goal of the game in the 55th minute.
Tachie, a former Wolfsburg player, flourished on the afternoon as he was also involved in the pattern of play that fetched the second goal of the game for his side.
The Berlin-born, who plays mainly as a right winger, can also operate as a center forward or a right winger.
He joined Dortmund II after quitting Viktoria Köln where he spent just one season after leaving Wolfsburg.
He will be hoping to break into the Dortmund first team squad if he keeps up his performance for the team B.
