We witnessed an intriguing competitive football play last night across the shores of the European continent where various European clubs battled against each other for glory last night. In there, the Old Trafford boys Manchester united took on Atlanta where the magical Christiano Ronaldo headed the winner nine minutes from time as united resurrected from a two goals down to record a triumph win against Atlanta at Old Trafford.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side had been booed off at the half time break, with the luck of intervention they put off in failing to prevent two goals from Mario Pasalic and Merih Demiral.

But aftermath, the jeers from the fans turned to cheer as united roared on like an angry lion by an increasingly frenzied crowd rose to the occasion to complete one of their great European victories.

United reduced deficit with an excellent finish eight minutes after the restart before captain Harry Maguire drove home after being left free at the far post to get on the end of Edinson Cavani’s flick.

But in all, it was the super man Christiano Ronaldo who made Manchester united day by his 81st minute goal just as he did three weeks ago previously against Villareal.

This time it was with one of his remarkable trademarks and usual headers as he rose to meet Luke Shaw’s cross and find the bottom corner to put united on top of group F.
